Reebok’s sportstyle mashup Zig Kinetica silhouette has served as an excellent canvas for experimentation in recent years. This week, Reebok launched one of these experiments, the outdoor-ready Zig Kinetica II Edge.

Reebok’s Zig Kinetica sneakers continue to grow in popularity with each month, and the U.K.-based brand seems more than happy to supply us with new colorways and versions to satiate the demand. Inspired by running shoes and technologies but built for everyday wear, the Zig Kinetica II recently took what Reebok learned from their first outing with the design, improving on it for the second iteration. Combining breathable mesh uppers with hybrid foam and rubber midsoles, the Kinetica II got another upgrade this week, prepping the silhouette for the outdoors in its new Edge version. The Zig Kinetica II Edge slightly rebuilds the upper, adding more durable materials for the upper and equipping the soles with a grippy Vibram outsole that wraps up and around the toes and heels.
