New Balance is adding the 993 to their premier Made in USA lineup this season, bringing fresh colorways of the retro runner from the mind of Teddy Santis and his team. This week, we have an early look at a “Chive” green pair, coming soon.
The Made in USA program from New Balance has taken over the brand’s hyped releases in recent years. Previously, the elevated product line delivered standard colorways of some classic silhouettes, as well as special collaborative projects. Since Teddy Santis of Aimé Leon Dore took over the project several years ago, their in-line offerings have been elevated with new colorways and more interesting palettes. This season, the 993 is joining the line, kicking things off with some perfect Spring releases. We have an early look at an upcoming “Chive” green pair, which pits the upper in the vibrant shade across mesh, leather, and suede layers. Hints of white are used to break up the monotone look, with a yellowed midsole underneath to complete the look.

New Balance’s upcoming releases for the Made in USA 993 are scheduled to arrive soon, on May 2nd, 2024. Featuring one colorway in a bright “Chive” green shade, pairs will be available from New Balance and select retailers for $210.
