Shoe Palace’s New Balance 2002R “Volcanic Rocks” Pack Releases Tomorrow

Shoe Palace has unveiled their latest exclusive release this week, teaming up with New Balance to create two colorways of the 2002R for the “Volcanic Rocks”-themed pack, available tomorrow.

The New Balance 2002R is still going strong several years into the silhouette’s retro run. The runner first launched in 2010 as a performance model, before returning as a lifestyle staple in 2020. The model is ripe for collaborations, featuring a number of panels for a colorful look, or different materials to create varying textures for more tonal styles. This week, Shoe Palace is delivering on both fronts, with their “Volcanic Rocks” pack. First up, the brown style is the more low-key of the two, featuring a black mesh base with varying kinds of suede in brown hues stacked across the upper. The blue pair is much bolder, starting with a deep navy blue base and using a mix of light aqua blue and royal blue across its layers. This pair adds a hint of red for the 2002R branding and inner linings.

Shoe Palace and New Balance are ready to release their latest collaboration, the “Volcanic Rocks” 2002R pack. Pairs will be available exclusively through the SP website tomorrow, April 26th, 2024. Pairs will be available starting at 7am PST, for $150 each for the brown & blue colorways.
