Ahead of the release of Insomniac’s ‘Spider-Man 2’ game this month, adidas has unveiled a special pair of the Ultra 4D silhouette, in a colorway inspired by Peter Parker’s Advanced Suit being overtaken by the symbiote Venom.
Back in 2020, when Insomniac Games released ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales’, adidas joined in the fun to release the Superstars Miles sports in-game. Now, as Marvel and adidas continue to strengthen their relationship, the two have unveiled special-edition shoes for the upcoming ‘Spider-Man 2’, in the form of the Ultra 4D. Inspired by Peter Parker’s Advanced Suit which debuted in the original game, the shoes feature a red knit upper with blue taped overlays at the toes. The Three Stripes come in white, with the carbon fiber pattern from the suit, while the black 4D midsole features extends upwards via tentacles resembling Venom. Alongside the shoes, adidas has also made a special soccer jersey to resemble the Advanced Suit, as well as a limited-edition tee with both Miles and Peter on the front and back.

The release of adidas’ Ultra 4D sneaker celebrating Marvel’s ‘Spider-Man 2’ game has been slated to arrive alongside the game’s release on October 20th, 2023. However, members of both adiClub and Playstation will receive early access to the shoes, jersey, and tee-shirt, the former of which will go for $220.
