Yesterday, Nike hosted their first SNKRS Showcase, sharing an early look at upcoming releases far ahead of their scheduled release. Among them was the Air Max 180 ‘Ultramarine’, coming in March 2024.
Nike has some big plans for sneaker releases next year, and for the first time ever, they’ve given us a peek behind the curtain during yesterday’s first-ever SNKRS Showcase. The livestream hosted on their release app aimed to beat blogs like ours to the punch, showing off some high-profile upcoming drops before leaks get to them. The showcase featured styles from Nike’s in-line catalog as well as ACG and Nike SB. One of our favorites was the new retro of the Air Max 180, which we last saw in 2017. Now in an entirely remastered format, the first colorway they shared was the OG ‘Ultramarine’ style, which pits the shoe in a white-based palette with accents in neon red and royal blue.

Nike’s upcoming retro release of the Air Max 180 has been set, arriving next month on May 24th, 2024. The OG ‘Ultramarine’ colorway will be available from the SNKRS app and select retailers for $150. UPDATE 4/26/24: Nike has confirmed their release date for the Air 180 “Ultramarine” retro, scheduled for May 24th, 2024. The release comes as a part of their Cult Classics series, which reissues come iconic colorways of models like the Air Force 1, Dunk, and Air Max 90.
