The adidas Ozweego is a blast from the past. Pulling from ’90s and ’00s aesthetic and adding a modern twist to the silhouette, the Ozweego has found itself at the top of the list when it comes to trendy sneakers. Now an adidas Ozweego shoutouts the cushioning system, adiPRENE on this new edition.
The adidas Ozweego has finally begun to hit its stride. From the start of 2019, we were waiting for more colorways and a roll-out from adidas. Drops were scarce and not advertised much at all and therefore the silhouette was not catching on as it should have. This August though, they started the month with a huge roll-out of colorways and themes. People finally recognized the model and were enjoying the new model.
This edition arrives with a texturized upper as semi-translucent mesh and a shaggy mesh makes up the upper. Taking on Footwear White, Solar Red, and Crystal White, it takes on a neutral colorway that sees a pop of color. Across the midfoot translucent side paneling, big adiPRENE branding takes over where the conventional Tree Stripes would normally lay. A tri-colored midsole or white, solar red and black finish off the look.
