The TMNT x adidas ‘Shelltoe’ Superstar launched last month, bringing the turtles to life in shoe form. Now, Master Splinter has surfaced in his own version of the silhouette, coming soon.
Over the past few decades, adidas has produced some highly unique collaborations utilizing well-known IP for their inspiration. Some of the most iconic were the Star Wars-inspired shoes that came in plastic and cardboard action figure packaging. Last month, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles got that treatment, releasing the “Shelltoe” Superstar in the same retro-styled packaging. Now, a new version of the TMNT shoe has surfaced, this time inspired by the Turtles’ mentor, Master Splinter. This pair features a shaggy suede upper in a dull brown shade, paired with bright pink leather stripes. The laces also have a shaggy edge to them, while gold lace dubraes and turtle shell toe caps complete the look.

The next release in the ongoing series from adidas and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has not been announced for release yet, but is expected to arrive later in 2024. The “Master Splinter” edition, dressed in suede with fuzzy accents, will likely also feature action figure packaging and release from the Confirmed app for $130.
