adidas’ revival of the ’90s Equipment line is gearing up for its first major debut this year, with the launch of the brand 30th anniversary collection. Featuring four popular EQT models, the set lands finally lands on shelves next week.

The adidas Equipment line originates in the 1990s, a running product designed to remove all the excess materials and bright colors that performance shoes had been amassing in the previous decade. Designed by Robert Strasser and Peter Moore, two legendary footwear designers, the shoes were built around the principle of “everything that is essential, and nothing that is not”. The EQT family was a massive success, which brings us to 2021’s modern-day rehashing of some classic EQT silhouettes. With most of the EQT Consortium releases already made available, adidas is now turning to their in-house releases to round out the EQT anniversary project. Featuring the Support 93, Race Walk, Prototype, and CSG 91, each shoe comes in a white, black, and EQT green color blocking.
