Japanese fashion label thisisneverthat and Converse have unveiled a new partnership, which will initially see the two team up on a pack of pre-aged Converse sneakers. Featuring the One Star and Chuck Taylor, the project launches next week.

Japanese brand thisisneverthat is on top of the world right now, having found worldwide success through their exciting mix of streetwear and runway fashion. In recent years, the label has begun teaming up with a variety of sneaker brands, delivering their own unique takes on beloved models. This week, thisisneverthat announced a new relationship with classic American brand Converse, unveiling a two-pack of shoes to celebrate the initial release. Featuring both the Chuck Taylor high top and the One Star low, both pairs are constructed from high quality suede, adding metal rivets to the shoe’s eyelets and pre-aging the midsoles for a vintage look.

The debut project from Japan’s thisisneverthat and Converse, featuring the high-top Chuck Taylor and the low-top One Star, has been scheduled to debut next month, on November 4th, 2021. The two-shoe collection will launch from both partners as well as select retailers, with elevated price tags due to the premium materials.
