Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE 1 already has a wide range of colors set to release this season. Now, we have a look at later in the year, with this “MX Charcoal” pair coming in August.

The adidas AE 1, the first signature shoe for Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, has been a hit so far. Debuted in December, the silhouette has dropped in a small assortment of colors. Several more are expected to arrive this season, including the “All-Star,” “Velocity Blue,” and “Stormtrooper” styles. This week, we got an early look at a new release for later in the year, remixing the shoe in “MX Charcoal” for August 2024. The MX style originally came in the form of the Yeezy Foam RNR, using a marbled effect for the molded silhouette. For this AE 1, the model gets a simple black mesh layer for its base, adding a grey and black marbled outer shield for the upper. The heel counters come with a carbon fiber print, adding white Three Stripes logos to complete the look.
