Madelyn Cline, known for her role in Netflix’s hit show “Outer Banks,” attended the 2023 WWD Honors event held at Casa Cipriani on Oct. 24 in New York City.
The 25-year-old stepped onto the red carpet in a pair of chic black pointed-toe pumps. Her shoes featured heels that elevated her look by at least 3 inches.
Cline’s stylist, Mimi Cuttrell, who works with a number of other well-known celebrities like model Gigi Hadid and actress Maude Apatow, dressed her in a form-fitting long-sleeved maxi dress with a slightly sheer hem by the fashion brand Khaite. Cline opted to include a minimal amount of jewelry for this look and accessorized with only a pair of chunky gold earrings and one gold ring.
This tight-fitting silhouette closely resembled the Givenchy ensemble the “Glass Onion” actress wore for Matthew Williams’s spring 2024 Givenchy show in Paris, in which Cline donned a black leather midi dress.
The actress, who was recently seen holding hands with comedian Pete Davidson while attending a Saturday Night Live after-party in NYC, is known for her sleek and form-fitting silhouettes for red-carpet events.
WWD Honors is an annual event that celebrates creativity, performance and leadership in the fashion industry. During the event, the magazine honored Dior’s artistic director of womenswear collections, Maria Grazia Chiuri; there, the designer received the John B. Fairchild Honor. Dries Van Noten of the synonymous fashion label was also awarded the WWD Honor for Designer of the Year.
Cline wasn’t the only celebrity to attend the event; actress Jennifer Lawrence, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” actress Kathryn Newton and “The Summer I Turned Pretty” stars Christopher Briney and Lola Tung were also in attendance.
