Elle Fanning graced the Golden Globe Awards 2024 red carpet in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton on Sunday. The actress, known for her role as Catharine the Great in the hit television show “The Great,” wore a pair of ivory pointed-toe heels to the red carpet.
The off-white shoes continued with Fanning’s previous red carpet looks, where the actress personified fairytale fashion and old Hollywood style. The silhouette of the pointy shoe helped emphasize the classic vintage vibes of the ivory Balmain dress.
For her look, Fanning embodied 2023’s bow trend with a cream silk floor-length ball gown adorned with a bow on the strapless neckline by Balmain. The delicate dress was reminiscent of the actress’ dainty and feminine attire worn by her character Catherine the Great.
The actress accessorized the look with Cartier jewelry; large diamond earrings and a diamond necklace that sat just above her collarbone.
Continuing with the fairytale look, Fanning wore soft and natural make-up opting to wear a slight cat eye, berry lip and light pink blush. The actress wore her hair in a low slicked-back bun, a nod to her previous modest and refined red carpet hairstyles.
Fanning is nominated for the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy award at the Golden Globes for her titular role in “The Great.” This is the actress’ third Golden Globe nomination for her role as Catherine the Great in the hit Hulu show.
The actress has been a brand ambassador for Paco Rabanne’s Fame fragrance since 2022 and Cartier since 2023, as well as a past campaign star for Alexander McQueen, Miu Miu and Marc by Marc Jacobs.
