Taylor Swift’s Top Shoe Moments of the Year
There’s no question that Taylor Swift dominated 2023. From being the top-streaming artist this year on both Apple Music and Spotify to headlining her history-making Eras Tour, Swift continues to make an impact across industries.
Just look at what happened when she went to the first Kansas City Chief’s game. There was a 400% spike in jersey sales for boyfriend Travis Kelce after the singer attended his game. Not to mention her own merch, specifically the viral blue crew neck, caused fans to line up hours before her tour stops to get their hands on the products, which then resulted in an uptick of sales on the resale market.
Then for what was one of her most-surprising shoe choices of the year, Swift stepped out in a pair of the New Balance x GANNI 1906R sneaker in October. The style is now nearly double in price on sites such as Goat and StockX.
Her next big shoe moment came during the Eras Tour. City after city since March, playing 3.5-hour marathon shows, Swift sang through a 44-song set list, wearing a standout pair of custom Christian Louboutin knee-high boots made of thousands of glittering strass crystals with a sculptural heel and a signature red-bottomed sole.
Swift also had a major boot moment in a pair of Prada knee-highs earlier this fall. The “You’re Losing Me” singer stepped out in New York wearing the style with an oversized Stella McCartney Pony Club rugby top from the fall ’23 collection, which she wore as a dress.
And most recently, to celebrate her birthday, Swift wowed in a pair of Stella McCartney’s Skyla boots — a $679 (previously $970) style with stretchy black Alter Mat vegan leather uppers and angled square toes. She completed the look with a double-breasted tan leather trench coat.
