New Balance’s Made in USA Spring Collection Will Kick Off This Month With 4 Sneaker Releases
New Balance has officially revealed its spring collection for the Made in USA line.
The assortment designed by Teddy Santis, founder of Aimé Leon Dore, will kick off in less than a week with four sneakers taking on a black, grey, and white color scheme. The 990v6, 990v4, 996 and 998 will all release simultaneously with the matching look and premium construction handled at least 70 percent domestically.
Later on in the season, the 990v4 will launch with two more colorways, cream and white; and blue, grey and black. The 993 will also take on predominantly green and purple looks, while the 990v6 will also return with tonal cream look and another featuring purple, black and white.
This collection marks the fifth since Santis took over the helm of the Made in USA line. Along with the Made in UK and Made in Japan lines, the American-produced sneakers release in limited numbers featuring the highest quality among New Balance products. Each collection also features a range of apparel made domestically, usually consisting of basics such as sweatshirts, sweatpants, hoodies and T-shirts.
The Made in USA 990v6, 990v4, 996, and 998 in grey and black will all release Feb. 8 through New Balance’s website and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $220, $210, $200 and $210, respectively. Release dates for the rest of the sneakers have not yet been announced.
