Saucony’s Shadow 6000 runner first burst onto the track thirty years ago, introducing a wealth of innovation from the Boston brand. Now, the Shadow 6000 is back in all of its original glory, available now.

Saucony’s regular sneaker releases took an extended hiatus at the beginning of the worldwide pandemic early last year, largely in part to the restrictions on workplaces and the global slowdown on trade and production. However, the Boston-based brand has been pumping up their releases so far in 2021, gearing up to get back on track with their regular collaborations. This week, Saucony announced a very welcome surprise, celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of the beloved Shadow 6000 runner. To celebrate, the brand rehashed the classic original color scheme, releasing the silhouette to the masses. Featuring navy blue and grey accents over a white and grey mesh and suede construction, this anniversary edition recreates everything that runners fell in love with three decades ago.
