Nike’s mashup silhouette combining the classic Daybreak with a new React midsole returns in new colorways next month. Take an early look at the OverBreak SP in ‘Earth Brown’, coming in 2021.
Nike ISPA’s Overreact silhouettes, offered in both standard and sandal variations, appear to be the beginning of a new product line from Nike. Earlier this summer, shortly after their release, the OverReact midsole started to surface online in new images, largely showing the fresh tooling mixed in with other Swoosh sneakers. Among them was the Overbreak SP, a hybrid of the plush new foam cushioning combined with the classic Nike Daybreak, one of the brand’s first massively popular running models. The OverBreak is fairly true to the original, modifying some of its panels to fit the new shape better, and provide more targeted support across the shoe. This week, the first release of 2021 for the OvreBreak was unveiled, showing off the sleek model in a medley of earth tones. The look begins with a soft tan tone for the form-fitting base layer, while darker brown shades cover the shaggy suede overlays. The laces sport hints of orange set against a white backdrop, while a soft tan React midsole completes the look.

Nike’s latest colorway of the Overbreak SP has been announced for release next month, on January 8th, 2021. The hybrid sneaker combining a classic runner and new React midsoles will be available from both Nike and select retailers, likely with a retail price in the $140+ range.
