The Asics GT-2160 has been an immensely popular model since its reintroduction to the brand’s catalog last year. While the collaborative releases have been some of the best, their in-line colorways are pretty excellent, like the upcoming “Putty” pair seen here.
The GT-2160 from Asics originally released in 2011 as a performance running shoe, before being revived by the Japanese brand in 2023. The model has found new life this year, coming off of an extremely hot run of collaborative releases to close out the year, with projects from Above The Clouds, EARLS, and more. In 2024, they’ve pushed more in-line colorways, giving the silhouette new makeovers for each season. This week, Asics unveiled their latest standard-issue pairs for the retro runner, including a soft “Putty” colorway coming soon. This look features a largely white base, adding metallic silver overlays and a cream or tan “Putty” accent throughout.

Asics has yet to announce their release of the next colors for the GT-2160 runner, though they are expected to arrive sometime in April 2024. Seen here in the “Putty” and white makeup, pairs will be available from the brand’s website for the usual $120.
