adidas is beginning to unveil their Summer 2024 in-line catalog, refreshing some classic silhouettes with new colorways for the changing seasons. This week, we got our first look at a “Preloved Green” pair of the Rivalry 86 Low, coming in May.

The adidas Rivalry first hit the basketball court in 1986. Originally made as a signature sneaker model for Patrick Ewing, the chunky basketball shoe was later renamed when the legendary NBA player licensed his name for his own sneaker brand. Since then, the Rivalry has bene a cult classic, reemerging every few years with new colorways. adidas’ latest retro run of the model kicked off last year, and has continued to drop new colorways and collaborations, like the upcoming “414 Day” pair, since. This week, a new in-line style has surfaced for Summer 2024, dressing the shoe in “Preloved Green” suede. This is paired with a cream white tongue, black leather accents, and a dark gum sole.
