adidas’ retro basketball releases continue to heat up in 2024, bringing us new colorways of the Crazy 1 like this “Cream White” pair, arriving in May 2024.

In 2000, adidas launched the Crazy 1, as the first signature shoe worn by Kobe Bryant during his tenure with the Three Stripes. While it was not actually named the Crazy until his departure from the brand, the silhouette’s sleek design has made it an iconic model in the brand’s basketball history. The silhouette has seen a healthy revival in recent months, with adidas releasing a handful of tasteful colorways for Fall 2024. Those releases are continuing in Spring, bringing us new colors like the “Magic Beige” and “Lakers Away” styles. Additionally, a “Cream White” style has joined the May release schedule, dousing the shoe in off-white and adding grey accents to the soles, laces, and mesh pieces. Hints of purple are added to the tongues and inner lining, while a flash of yellow adds to the Lakers theme.
