Gayle King continued her metallic shoe style streak while attending the 2024 CMT Music Awards on Sunday in Austin. The “CBS Morning” co-host updated the footwear trend with a pair of reflective green pumps.
King wore a similar metallic style, but in silver, in January while attending the 2024 Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles. Her shoes, like the ones she wore on Sunday, featured pointed toes and a short heel slightly elevating her look by at least 2 inches.

Metallic shoes started taking over fashion in 2022 and remained popular through 2024. Due to their neutral aesthetic, metallic footwear can add a sophisticated and modern touch to different outfits. She has also been seen in glittery Miu Miu sneakers at the F1 Academy Series race track in October.
