The New Balance 1906R has helped the brand transcend its widespread reputation as a “boring” sneaker company, winning over fans across urban landscapes that would’ve scoffed at the idea of wearing an “N”-branded pair before 2020.
As the New England institution continues to reimagine its retro runner on its own and via collaborations, it’s experimenting with the model’s DNA. Variations like the NB 1906F have injected a refined, lifestyle touch to the sneaker, while a newly-surfaced New Balance 1906U reimagines the design through a “Utility” lens. The reworked offering already has a collaboration lined up with INVINCIBLE and N.HOOLYWOOD, two Asian labels that previously brought understated but compelling makeovers to several New Balance footwear products.
The NB 1906U has taken on two eye-catching styles for its inaugural looks. One offering favours a combination of pastel colours appropriate for spring, while the second unreleased option favours a familiar grayscale arrangement contrasted with electrifying yellow. Semi-transparent panels along the profiles of the silhouette work in-tandem with angular synthetic overlays for a visual update to the New Balance 1906R. Reflective hits appear all throughout the upper, nodding to the sneaker’s origins as a performance-running model. Underfoot, the NB 860v2’s tried-and-proven cushioning and traction solution deliver a familiar ride.
- Returns and/or exchanges are only accepted within 14 days of purchase date.
- Sale product may only be exchanged for alternative sizing in the same product should there be stock available, in the event of a refund a gift card will be issued.
- To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it in. It must also be in the original, undamaged packaging i.e. the Shelflife carton it is shipped in. Should you not ship it in this carton, there will be penalties if the product is damaged.
- Refunds for online purchases will be refunded back to the same payment tender that the original sale, once the goods arrive at our warehouse – note the process to return an order can take up to 7 working days.
- Credit/Debit card refunds take 7-14 working days to reflect in the account, which is standard across all banks in South Africa.
- Should you wish to return to a store for a refund, the refund will be done back to the same tender that the original sale was made, with exception of the following tenders which will be refunded back onto a Shelflife Gift Card – Mobicred, Payflex, PayJustNow.
- Gift Card refunds take 48 hours to process and are valid for 36 months.
- In the event of a return due to a customer fault, such as the ordering of the incorrect size, the customer will be fully liable for all return shipping fees incurred. Shipping fees for collection within South Africa are R100 (from your door back to our warehouse).
- In the case of a refund however, Shelflife will deduct R200 from the order amount to cover all shipping costs including the original delivery cost.
- In the event of a return due to a Shelflife fault, Shelflife will cover full shipping fees incurred.
