Nike Adds Regrind Rubber To The Air Max Plus

Nike Adds Regrind Rubber To The Air Max Plus

Following the first round of Space Hippie releases, Nike INC.’s efforts to produce more styles of sustainably-made sneakers have ramped up tremendously as Regrind rubber materials have started to show face on many a silhouette including that of the Air Max 270 React, Air Max 95, and Jordan Crater. Showing no evidence of slowing down the initiative is ready to add to their “trashy” family by welcoming with open arms another classic under the Sportswear division — the Air Max Plus.

Updates are present mainly through its mudguards, heel overlays, and outsoles, all of which have been reworked with the the speckled grey aesthetic naturally formed from its scrappy origins. In terms of the real estate elsewhere, the ribbed uppers usher in a gradient theme that transitions from white-to-grey, followed by juicy orange hits scattered through the branded logos, Air units, and tread. Peep more images here, and find these dropping likely on Nike.com in the coming weeks for $160.
