FTC Skateshop To Exclusively Drop The Orange Grateful Dead Dunks

FTC Skateshop To Exclusively Drop The Orange Grateful Dead Dunks

Launching this Saturday, July 18th is the first of three colorways of the monumental collaboration between Nike Skateboarding and Grateful Dead. Inspired by the original marching bears that first appeared on their 1973 album, the Grateful Dead Dunks feature a furry upper with suede, a hidden pocket in the tongue to carry personal belongings during shows, and plenty of band insignia on the tongue, insoles, and Zoom Air unit beneath the insoles. The orange colorway will precede the launch of the other two versions and will be available exclusively at FTC, the legendary skate hub located at the Haight/Asbury district in San Francisco. FTC will be holding an email raffle for the shoes on July 15th, 2020 for in-store pick-up only. After the release, the orange Dunks will not release anywhere else.

HOW TO ENTER: Email ftcnikesb@gmail.com. One email entry per person. Multiple, early, or late entries will be disqualified. Subject Line: Name, Shoe Size, Phone #. And Special Trivia answer in the body, “What does ‘FTC’ stand for?” Reminder, please DO NOT submit an entry if YOU cannot pick up locally.

Check out the additional details on the Green Grateful Dead Dunks and Yellow Grateful Dead Dunks, and check out our interview with NBA legend and life-time Dead-head Bill Walton.
