New Balance 991v2 Made in UK Blue U991SG2

Last Fall, New Balance introduced the 991v2, an update to the popular running shoe originally released in 2001. This week, the v2 version surfaced in a Made in UK “Silver Blue” style, coming soon.

New Balance’s 991v2 has added more releases to the 2024 calendar. After debuting in Fall in collaboration with Stone Island, the Boston brand followed up quickly with a two-piece release from Patta. Since then, they’ve released a few in-line colors, building up their catalog of plain styles. This week, a bright new look has appeared on the horizon, slated for a Spring 2024 release. The new look covers the upper almost entirely in bold “Silver Blue”, taking over the mesh, leather, and suede layers. ‘N’ logos and laces are added in a pale grey with matching midsole inserts, while the sole itself is split between white and cream shades.
