Amsterdam brand Patta is reuniting with New Balance this month, to release their take on the recently introduced 991v2 silhouette. Dressed in lush purple, the project launches later this week.
Earlier this Fall, New Balance debuted the 991v2, an updated take on their classic running model. The silhouette made its first appearance in collaboration with Stone Island in October, followed shortly by its first in-line release in classic NB grey. Now, another collaborator has entered the fold, to deliver their take on the new model. The last we saw from Patta and New Balance came in Fall of 2022, when they released a fresh colorway of the 990v3. Now, for their version of the 991v2, Patta has colored the shoe in a lush purple suede for its outer layers, paired with a grey mesh base, and bright neon green accents to complete the look.

The next collaboration between Amsterdam’s Patta and New Balance has been scheduled to debut this week, on November 17th, 2023, from London’s HIP store, followed by a wider release sometime in the near future. UPDATE 11/20/23: Patta has announced their release of the New Balance 991v2 pack this week, which is set to drop on December 1st, followed by a wider release on December 8th. Coming in two colorways, ‘Pickled Beet’ and ‘Sea Moss’, the former will be available globally, while the latter will remain exclusive to Patta. Each pair will come with a price tag of $250, and three lace options to choose from.
