Parris Goebel is getting a sneaker to call her own, as Nike has announced a Dunk Low collaboration for the superstar choreographer.

The Dunk Low “Parris Goebel” adopts a pink, mustard, and turquoise colorway that sees the latter color dress the Swoosh in a metallic patent leather. Signature details then include a gold-tone metal Swoosh lace dubrae with an embedded jewel and upside-down branding on both the mustache and tongue tag. On the inner side of the tongue tag, you’ll also find “5678” embroidery as nod to the count for dance routines.

“My choice of sneaker for dancing has always been a Nike Dunk,” Goebel said in a press release. “I have so many fond memories of creating and dancing in the shoe. As someone whose personal style is a mix of feminine and masculine, it was important for me to select colors and materials that balance between masculine and feminine energy. I want everyone to see themselves in my shoe, no matter how they identify.”

Goebel debuted her own Dunk during “Goddess Awakened,” the Paris Fashion Week performance that she directed and choreographed in July in partnership with Nike. Her relationship with the brand goes back even further than 2021, when she was formally announced as a face for Nike, as they hosted a workshop together in 2018 in Australia.

Those not familiar with Goebel by name are certainly familiar with her work, as she’s choreographed performances and music videos for artists including Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and Justin Bieber.

The Nike Dunk LowParris Goebel” has release through Nike’s website and select retailers for $125.
