For their latest collaboration, Keen has tapped Only NY to create a rendition of its Uneek sneakers.
After 10 years since the original open-air sneaker debuted, the footwear company’s Uneek style will be reimagined by the independent clothing brand Only NY. Taking inspiration from the city, outdoors and arts, the two brands collaborated on a limited-edition set that combines Keen’s innovative designs with Only NY’s unique aesthetic.
Dressed in dark gray, the Keen x Only Ny’s Uneek sneakers feature the style’s signature open-air design with an adjustable two-cord upper that contours to each person’s foot. Keen’s K logo is embroidered onto the almond toe, sitting in front of a recycled P.E.T. plastic bungee cord closure, which is fastened by a lace-lock system. Contrast comes from the teal tongue and the Only NY branded footbed. The gender-neutral set stays true to the original construction with athletic cushioning and a flexible rubber outsole that makes it sturdy for any terrain.
The Keen x Only NY Uneek sneakers will retail for $130 when it is released on April 26 in stores and online at Only NY.
