Ming Lee Simmons took the sky-high style to Balmain‘s spring 2024 show at Paris Fashion Week.
While attending the French luxury brand’s runway presentation to see creative director Olivier Rousteing’s latest designs on Wednesday, Simmons posed in a towering pair of its platform sandals. Her $1,250 Cam style featured peep-toe uppers atop thick soles, all crafted with glossy black patent leather. The shiny set was given a chicly retro finish with thin, adjustable buckled slingback straps.
A set of thick 5.5-inch block heels completed Simmons’ shoes with a towering height boost. Aside from its soaring elevation, the footwear also brought a dynamic finish to the model’s Balmain outfit for the occasion: a buttoned black vest-like minidress with white trim.
The piece was further elevated by its matching blazer, which boasted exaggerated, pointed white lapels for a dramatic take on traditional formal dressing.
For a dash of nonchalance — similarly to her model mother, Kimora Lee Simmons, and fellow model sister Aoki Lee Simmons — Ming simply layered her Balmain outfit atop a lacy black bra. Her only accessories were a cluster of small gold and diamond huggie and stud earrings, bringing the two-toned attire a dash of contemporary sparkle.
Paris Fashion Week is held from Sept. 25 to Oct. 3, marking the final week of Fashion Month. The occasion will feature a range of fashion shows and presentations from numerous brands across Paris, France, including Dior, Chanel, Schiaparelli, Loewe and more.
