J Balvin performed at Coachella 2024 on Sunday, wearing a pair of Air Force 1 sneakers. The all-white sneakers feature stitched leather overlays on the upper adding heritage style, durability and support.
The leather low-tops debuted back in 1982 as the first basketball shoe to house Nike Air. The classic shoe continues to stay up-to-date with trends while also staying true to the brand’s roots.
Balvin also wore his J Balvin x Air Jordan “Rio” collaborative sneakers. The singer’s fourth collaboration with Air Jordan will be released next month. The shoes feature a black leather base with gray elephant print panels on the toe and heel.
The set is completed with a gradient look against the back of the midsole. The set will retail for $250. The singer has been working with the brand since 2020 when the two created the “Colores Y Vibras” Air Jordan 1.
Along with Doja Cat, Bebe Rexha and Sabrina Carpenter, the “Mi Gente” singer was among the star-studded lineup to perform on the main stage during the first weekend of Coachella 2024. The annual music and arts festival was headlined by Lana Del Rey. The weekend was filled with surprise performances from other stars like Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Bieber and Billie Eilish. Balvin was joined by Will Smith, who added to the UFO-inspired set with a performance of the actor’s 1997 single “Men in Black.”
