Blake Lively Pops in Platform Clogs With Husband Ryan Reynolds in New York City

Blake Lively got a boost from her shoes during her latest outing.

The “Gossip Girl” alum stepped out with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, in New York City on Tuesday. For the outing, Lively slipped into a pair of clogs. Her tan leather shoes featured a rounded toe and a large buckle detail over the top of the foot, and they were complete with a thick black platform base that lifted Lively an extra inch.

The open-backed pair added a retro finish to Lively’s outfit, fitting into the current clog trend that has been popular since fall 2022. Different styles have come onto the market since the Birkenstock’s Boston clogs blew up, while other styles have been released from brands including Hermes, Ganni and Veronica Beard.

Lively paired her shoes with a navy hooded sweatshirt and medium-wash straight-leg jeans. She also kept warm with a navy wool peacoat worn open, showing off her all-blue look underneath. She carried a blue Chanel quilted crossbody bag with a gold chain, and she added wayfarer sunglasses.

The “A Simple Favor” actress has been a longtime fixture on the fashion scene, stemming from her glamorous style and close friendships with designers like Christian Louboutin and the late Karl Lagerfeld. Lively previously served as the face of L’Oreal and Gucci’s Gucci Premiere perfume, as well as Chanel’s Mademoiselle handbag line, in the early 2010s. She’s also a front-row regular at Fashion Month, appearing at shows for brands like Michael Kors, Gucci and Dior, among others.
