Early this month, we got an early look at a new collaboration between Nike SB and Verdy, the artist and designer behind Wasted Youth and Girls Don’t Cry. Now, an Air Max Ishod has joined the upcoming release.

Japanese artist and designer Verdy has a history with Nike SB, releasing a Girls Don’t Cry collaboration back in 2019. While still directing GDC and Wasted Youth, Verdy has also focused on Visty, a fluffy, bear-like character imagined during the global lockdown in 2020. Now, the artist is bringing the fluff creature to the world of footwear, through a two-piece collaboration with Nike SB. We got an early look at the fuzzy Dunk Low from the project this month, but over the weekend Verdy was spotted wearing a matching pair of the new Air Max Ishod silhouette. The pair sports the same pastel blue, green, and pink color scheme as its counterpart, with some yellow accents to complete the look.

The accompanying Air Max Ishod for Verdy’s upcoming Nike SB project has not been announced for release, but is expected to arrive alongside the Dunk Low in Summer 2024. Featuring the same blue, green, and pink color scheme, pairs will likely be available from SB skate shops and the SNKRS app. Check out the on-feet photos below for a better look, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more sneaker release news.
