Stone Island and New Balance have unveiled their latest footwear collaboration. Dropping next month, the two have a dark neutral colorway of the Made in UK 991v2 ready to release.
New Balance’s iterations of the 99x family have been immensely popular over the last several years. This year, the Boston brand is gearing up to release an update on one of their classic, the 991. Simply dubbed the 991v2, the new style slightly modifies the shoe’s paneling and places the 991 branding on the outer heels, as well as refining the midsole for a more streamlined look. To help launch the model, NB has enlisted Stone Island, who have drafted their own color scheme to debut the silhouette. Mixing neutral shades of black and grey, the look features lighter colored underlays with dark suede pieces on top.

The next release from Stone Island and New Balance has been scheduled to debut on October 4th, 2023, releasing first from the UK brand, followed by a global drop on October 18th. Dressed in black and grey tones, the Made in UK 991v2 will likely come with a price tag in the $200 range.
