It’s been a while since we last saw Pharrell and adidas team up for an NMD Hu, but that might be because they were taking their time and putting a lot of work into what was next to come. Check out this great on-foot of the Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu Black/Gum.
Just when you thought the NMD hu was winding down, Pharrell and adidas have quickly drawn us all back in with this new “Gum Pack” collection. Just last week we saw first images of the three pairs and they piqued the curiosity of many. Now thanks to the legend himself yankeekicks, we have perfect images of how the Black/Gum pair will look on feet.
Arriving in an all over black primeknit, this version comes dressed in the darkest tones yet. Featuring a black rubber midsole cage, black laces, black EVA pods, and even a black boost midsole, this pair is not playing around. “INFINITY” is embroidered in across the front on the right pair while “SPECIES” can be found on the left, both arriving in slightly tonal embroidery. The smallest bits of color comes from a triangular Hu logo on the left heel and of course that beautiful gum outsole that has fans raving. Do you think these can restore the Pharrell x adidas line to what they used to be? We aren’t sure but what we do know is that these are the freshest Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu’s that has released in quite some time.
PHARRELL X ADIDAS NMD HU BLACK/GUM RELEASE INFORMATION
As of now, we do not have a scheduled release time but we do expect them to arrive sometime this summer 2019. UPDATE: The Pharrell x adidas NMD HU Black/Gum will see a release on September 1st, 2019 along with the other three pairs of the gum collection. They will also see a reduced retail price as they will sell for $220. Stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for updates and more information.
UPDATE: Although sold out on adidas, the Pharrell x adidas NMD Black/Gum can be found at select retailers like Footlocker in select sizing. Be quick as these will sell out eventually.
