Nike has gone all in on their Zoom Vomero 5 this year, releasing a large wave of new colorways over the last few months. This week, a new ‘Velvet Brown’ style surfaced, coming soon.
The Zoom Vomero 5 from Nike is one of the most comfortable retro running shoes on the market. After a quick revival several years ago, the Swoosh is back on the older model, releasing fresh colorways in waves throughout 2023 so far. The next batch they’ve cooked up is expected to arrive sometime in Spring, and includes this ‘Velvet Brown’ style. The new pair features a black mesh base layer, with dark brown suede mid layers on the toes. Anthracite black synthetic overlays are added on top, while an Earth-tinted inner lining rounds out the neutral shades. The shoe is finished with bright red accents.

Nik’s next slate of colorways for the Zoom Vomero 5 have not been announced for release, thought they are expected to arrive sometime in Spring 2023. Seen here in a dark ‘Velvet Brown’ style, pairs will likely be available direct from Nike’s website along with select retailers for $160.
