Nike’s revamped ‘By You’ customization platform has added a number of classic silhouettes to its ranks over the past year. Now, Nike is opting for something new, prepping the upcoming Waffle One silhouette to debut in customizable options alongside in-line colorways.
The Nike Waffle One has yet to make its official debut, and yet, the Swoosh has already unveiled its plans to launch the new silhouette via the ‘By You’ customization platform on the brand’s website. While Nike typically reserves full-on customization options for a little while after a new style has made a name for itself, the premier of the Waffle One via the ‘By You’ experience signals Nike’s confidence in the new silhouette, which we feel is fairly well-deserved, as the Waffle One promises to be an interesting new addition to the brand’s current lineup. So far, the Waffle One features a number of options to choose from, including both translucent or dyed mesh for the shoe’s base layer, multiple types of suede overlays, and even “Frosted” TPU options for the Swoosh. While a release date for the Waffle One is still unclear, Nike is allowing you to get creative ahead of time and prep any colorways you want on the By You platform before the actual release.
