Nike’s Air Footscape Woven first appeared in the mid-2000s, building on the brand’s Footscape model from the 90s. Now, the Woven is set to return in new colorways in Fall 2023.
In 1996, Nike introduced a radical new model, the Air Footscape, to their performance lineup. The asymmetrical, unconventional model was crafted by scanning the feet of hundreds of athletes, and crafting an upper that conforms to the natural curves of human feet. Then, in the mid-2000s, they created a mashup of the Footscape and Air Woven silhouettes, applying the unique woven upper as a stripe down the sides of the Footscape. Now, it appears a new retro of the Air Footscape Woven is on the way later this year, bringing new colorways to the eye-catching silhouette. Seen here in a black pony hair material, Smoke Grey bands of woven material decorate the perimeter of the new style.

Nike’s upcoming retro release of the Air Footscape Woven silhouette has not been given a set date yet, though they are expected to arrive sometime in Fall of 2023. Seen here in a black and smoke grey color scheme, pairs will likely be available via the SNKRS app and select retailers, with an expected price tag of $150.
