New Balance continues to iterate on their fan-favorite 2002R runner, this time building out a small collection with the ‘Good Vibes’ pack. Seen here in electric green, this pair calls back to a 2012 collaboration with Kawasaki.

Remember the 2012 Kawasaki 993? New Balance certainly does. Now ten years old, the highly sought-after project took inspiration from the moto brand’s bold colorways, applying them to the retro-styled runner through an electric green colorway. New Balance is rehashing the look a decade later, through a special release of the recent 2002R silhouette. Dubbed a part of the ‘Good Vibes’ pack, this project will likely see more colorways added as we edge closer to a release. For now, we have a good look at the pack’s take on the eye-catching look, which begins with a black mesh base layer for the 2002. White mid-layers separate the underlay from the neon green suede outer pieces, while a grey interior lining rounds out the upper. TPU New Balance ‘N’ logos add a hint of a synthetic look, and a mixed grey and black midsole completes the look.
