Artist Steve Thomson is known for his unique woodworking projects, often incorporating sneakers, under the name Happy Life Wood. Now, he is launching an official Air Jordan 9 Golf this week.

Happy Life Wood is a unique blend of art and pop culture. The man behind the Instagram account, Steve Thomson, recreates iconic products in 2D wood sculptures with a high degree of accuracy. You may have seen his limited edition Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” recreation, or the meticulously crafted Kobe 8, all of which achieve the desired colors through natural wood tones. This week, Thomson is releasing an official collaboration with Jordan Brand, creating a pair of the Air Jordan 9 Low Golf in a wood-like look to celebrate the Masters tournament this week. The pair features beautiful vegtan leather for the upper, adding a woodgrain printed leather for the mudguards, heels, and insoles. Laser-cut wooden hangtags accompany each pair, with metal lace accents to complete the look.
