Dime Asics GT-2160 Montreal’s Dime has been making a hard push into the world of sneaker collaborations. Last week, co-owner Vincent Tsang teased their first project with Asics, featuring the 2011 GT-2160.

Asics is gearing up to bring back another older running model this year, continuing a long line of repurposing out-of-date performance footwear as a lifestyle option, or, in their words, SportStyle. This time, 2011’s GT-2160 is getting the treatment, with an assortment of in-line colorways already prepped for release sometime later this Summer. However, it appears they have collaborations on the way as well, with Dime co-owner Vincent Tsang teasing two pairs in contrasting color schemes during Paris Fashion Week last month. The first pair comes in white and tan, with a gradient that goes from light to dark, heel to toe. The second pair is more colorful, transitioning from a dusty olive green at the forefoot to a dark navy blue at the heels.

DIME X ASICS GT-2160 RELEASE INFORMATION

The next release from Dime MTL and Asics has not been announced for release, though we hope to see the project drop sometime later this year. Featuring two gradient color schemes of the GT-2160, pairs will likely release initially from Dime before launching via Asics channels shortly after. Check out the teaser images for a better look at both colorways, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more sneaker release news.

UPDATE 7/14: The Dime x ASICS GT-2160 officially releases online tomorrow at 1pm ET in limited quantities followed by a wider release on the 22nd. Good luck!
