Montreal skate brand Dime is reuniting with adidas this month, to deliver their take on the retro ADI2000 skate shoe. The chunky model comes in a neutral “Chalk” colorway, dropping next week.

Dime has created a steady rotation of sneaker collaborators over the past few years, regularly offering a new project from the likes of Reebok, New Balance, Asics, and adidas. The latter is the next in line to release sneakers with the Montreal skate brand, which they unveiled this week in the form of the ADI2000. The model, introduced a few years ago by the Originals performance skateboarding team, is an homage to skate shoes of the early ’00s, featuring a chunky, padded upper and multi-tiered midsole. For their take on the mode, Dime has cast the shoe in a simple neutral look, mixing Chalk, Light Brown, and Feather grey across a suede and canvas upper. Dime branding on the sides and yellow adidas Trefoil logos on the tongues complete the look.
