The adidas Top Ten is back. Following on the heels of the 1984 Forum revival, the original leather basketball shoe is set to also make its return, surfacing on the backend of the brand’s website in this new Blaze Orange color scheme, coming soon.

adidas’ vintage basketball shoes appear to be making a comeback this year, with the revival of the 1984 Forum already well underway. This week, it appears that the Top Ten, the predecessor to the Forum, will also be returning in 2021, starting off with a bold new color scheme pitching the classic court shoe in an orange and black color scheme, inspired directly by the colors of a basketball. Making its return first in its lower-top variation, the adidas Top Ten features an all-leather construction from heel to toe, making use of numerous overlays to provide targeted support and stability. The new orange and black build begins with a black base layer for the quarter panels, before swapping to perforated orange leather for the toebox and overlaying black along the mudguard. The signature Three Stripes on either side come in orange, while orange heel counters and collars finish off the contrasting color blocking, and plain white midsoles complete the look.
