Drake’s Nike Nocta Sneaker Drops in ‘Triple White’ and ‘Crimson’ Colorways

Drake celebrated his 37th birthday Tuesday, and on Wednesday night his sneaker catalog grew with the release of two new Nike Nocta Glide colorways.

The Air Zoom Flight 95-inspired sneaker is now available in “Triple White” and “Crimson” colorways, which are just the second and third iteration of the silhouette to go on sale. The model made its debut in black and white in the lead-up to his latest album, while a “Slime Green” colorway was exclusively given to participants in Nike‘s Elite Youth Basketball League. A fair amount of sizes for the black and white pair are still available on the Nocta website, continuing a curious trend in which Drake‘s superstardom hasn’t quite translated into his sneakers becoming smash hits.

The Nocta Glide’s most prominent design feature are its “bug eye” TPU pods that sit in the midsole to provide stability at midfoot and heel and are pulled directly from the Air Zoom Flight 95. That model was worn by a host of NBA players in 1995 and 1996, with Jason Kidd being most closely associated with the silhouette.

The all-white pair deviates from the carbon fiber look signature to both the Air Zoom Flight 95 and the first Nocta Glide colorway, as all the pods appear in chrome. On the bright red pair, there’s a mix of chrome and a black-on-black carbon fiber treatment to go along with black accenting throughout the sneaker. Both also feature reflective trim across the upper and yellow targeted tread zones on the outsole.

Both Nike Nocta Glide sneakers are available now through the dedicated Nocta website. The “Crimson” pair is a Nocta exclusive, and “Triple White” will be available at other stockists. Pricing is set at $160 each.
