Victoria’s Secret is releasing its 2023 holiday campaign featuring the one and only queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey.
Releasing on Nov. 2, the campaign includes seasonally-inspired pieces that capture the playful essence of the holidays. These seasonal offerings include a Candy Cane Dreams Satin Bow Corset Top and Gold Sequined Floral Embroidery Low-Cut Demi Bra.
Carey was shot by acclaimed photographer Ethan James Green and styled by Gabriela Karefa-Johnson. In the images, the “Touch My Body” songstress can be seen outfitted in a variety of lingerie styles cast in seasonal red and rose gold hues, often embellished with dainty bows or trimmed with delicate coordinating lace.
Accompanied by a bright red and white polka-dotted bodycon dress and a faux-fur shawl, Carey sported a pair of matching red Love Link 105 slingback pumps from Aquazzura. Retailing for $1,250, the footwear features red grosgrain uppers that transition into triangular pointed toes and thick and sturdy crystal-embellished slingback straps. 4.13-inch stiletto heels rounded out the set.
Another image saw the “It’s A Wrap” singer outfitted in another lacy slip in a rose gold-tone accompanied by that same faux fur shawl and Jimmy Choo Saeda pumps in a metallic gold shade. The footwear featured crystalized straps, gilded uppers, sharp pointed toes, decorative dangling charms and 4-inch stiletto heels.
The mom of two often opts for stiletto-heeled platform sandals and pointed-toe pumps on and off the red carpet from top brands, including Aquazzura, Sophia Webster, Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo.
These often include statement-making elements like metallic tones, crystals, and bright colors. Aside from her heels, Carey also favors cozy Ugg boots while off-duty. Carey also launched an extensive collection of footwear with HSN in 2010. Carey has a deep love of platforms, often incorporating them into her ensembles.
