On Thursday at Casa Cipriani in New York City, The King’s Trust (formerly the Prince’s Trust), had its third annual star-studded event. Co-chaired by global ambassadors Lionel Richie and Edward Enninful OBE, the event was centered around raising funds in support of the global youth charity established by King Charles.
Among the many A-list celebrities present, Kate Beckinsale made her much-anticipated return after her weeks-long hospital stay for an undisclosed reason. The actress paired white platform shoes with a high stiletto by Pleaser.
Beckinsale and platform shoes have a long-term affair as evidenced by her footwear choices at prior events. The Underworld actress also wore 6-inch sky-high shimmering silver shoes at the 2024 Golden Globes in January of this year. She also wore 6-inch clear platform shoes with gold soles to complement her maximalist sheer black dress with a caped silhouette and gold fringe to the amfAR Gala Venezia 2023 in Venice, Italy on Sept. 3, 2023.

The King’s Trust plans to extend its work into other parts of the USA and will introduce two new initiatives here this year including a jobs fair and grants.
