Ciara attended a Baby2Baby event in Los Angeles on Wednesday, wearing a pair of Chelsea boots.
Alongside Olivia Wilde and Kelly Rowland, the “One, Two Step” singer announced the expansion of Baby2Baby’s Maternal Health & Newborn Supply Kits. After announcing the charity’s new sponsorship with Huggies, the three joined a group of volunteers to assemble and carry the postpartum kits.
Last week, Ciara was also seen with Rowland when she slipped into a pair of white pumps for the Jhpiego Laughter Is The Best Medicine Gala. The set was similar to the black pointed-toe set she wore to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class Electrifies World Premiere last month. The singer has consistently gravitated toward neutral silhouettes within the past few months. She wore black booties to the the Voices of Beauty Summit on March 28.
About The Shoes
For the occasion, the singer slipped into a pair of black Chelsea boots. The leather pair featured a calf-high sleeve and a rounded toe. The boots were completed by a rubber lug sole. The shoes are similar to the Bottega Veneta Lug Chelsea Boot that retails for $1,450.
Many stars favor the sleek style including Kendall Jenner, Jennifer Garner and Billy Porter, who was seen wearing a platform set to the 2024 Time 100 Gala last month.
Chelsea Boots
Dating back to the Victorian era, Chelsea boots have gradually become popular over the years because of its sleek design accompanied by minimal detailing. It gained an increased amount of recognition around the 1960s in a trendy area of London called Chelsea, hence the name. From grunge to bohemian, the Chelsea boot has become a staple piece within several styling trends. The laceless set has been reimagined by several companies from affordable brands like Timberland and Dr. Martens to high end labels like Bottega Veneta and Dior.
