The Crossover: The Kicks Allen Iverson Wore To Shake Michael Jordan Are Back

One of the highlights of NBA great Allen Iverson‘s legendary career was shaking Michael Jordan with his crossover during his 1996-97 rookie campaign. The shoes Iverson wore to best the greatest basketball player of all time will be back in stores this week.

The Reebok Question Mid OG “Blue Toe” arrives on Friday and will retail for $140. The shoe will be available via reebok.com and select retailers such as Finish Line, Footaction and Champs Sports.

The shoe boasts a clean look featuring a predominantly white leather upper, but its most noteworthy characteristic is its blue toe cap. The upper and tongue feature red and blue classic Vector branding. The “Blue Toe” iteration is completed with a white midsole with Hexalite construction and an icy translucent outsole.

The Question made its debut on Iverson’s feet in 1996, and for the 20th anniversary of the iconic silhouette, Reebok set out to deliver 20 different iterations of the shoe — one for each year. Throughout 2016, Reebok has issued a never-before-released prototype of the shoe, as well as the classic “Red Toe” look, a collaboration with retailer Sneakersnstuff, an edition based off his infamous “practice” press conference and more.
