3 Jordan Retro Releases Slated To Hit Stores Saturday

Jordan Brand wants to make sure the closets of sneakerheads are stocked with Air Jordan retros for the summer. The label is scheduled to release three iterations of some of its most celebrated signature shoes for NBA icon Michael Jordan on Saturday.

The Air Jordan 12 Retro “French Blue” has been worn by NBA star John Wall a few times on the court as of late, and will undoubtedly be on the feet of sneaker fiends as of this weekend. The shoe, first released in 2005, is identical to its original release, according to Nike. The upper boasts premium tumbled leather and uses a white and French blue color palette. The men’s shoe will retail for $190, but will also come in kids sizes including grade school ($140), preschool ($80), and toddler ($60). It also will be released in an infant gift pack for $50.

The Air Jordan 12 silhouette will also be released Saturday in a new iteration, named “Wings.” The shoe uses a black and white color palette, but features gold wings on the black portion  after being wiped, agitated, and rubbed. The shoe also boasts other notable updates, including gold on its eyelets, side panel, insole and outsole, as well as a silhouette of Jordan’s wingspan on the heel. The Air Jordan 12 Retro “Wings” will retail for $225.

The “Gym Red” iteration of the Air Jordan 2 Retro Low also comes out Saturday, The shoe will retail for $160. The latest edition is is entirely red with hyper turquoise insoles.
