Growing up playing in Nike Dunks, Sabrina Ionescu has held a long-standing connection with The Swoosh. From setting collegiate records at the University of Oregon to signing with the Beaverton brand as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 WNBA Draft, Sabrina Ionescu became just the 12th WNBA player ever to receive her own signature shoe in March of 2023.
As the first unisex basketball shoe from Nike, the Sabrina 1 simultaneously incorporates a swift amount of details surrounding Ionescu’s Romanian heritage and her goals for uplifting women in sports.
