He switched his number from 1 to 25 in honor of Simeon High School alumni Benji Wilson who tragically was murdered before he could make it to the NBA. Rose also wore the number while he was a top recruit at Semion High himself. The adidas D Rose 773 V is a handful of a name, but the silhouette showcases the three stripe’s commitment to the D Rose line thanks to an array of interesting panels, bolstered mesh, and a stylish all-red colorway to turn heads that fits right in with Rose’s former team.
