Alexis Sablone’s Nike SB Dunk Low And Converse AS-1 Will Drop First As A Two-Pair Pack

There are very few like Alexis Sablone. A true multi-disciplinary by trade and by passion, Alexis has excelled in whatever she set her mind to, whether it be skating, academia, and creating community retail spaces. Next on her portfolio: designing a collaborative footwear capsule with Nike and Converse for the Olympics, and crafting the Olympic kits for Team USA and Team Japan for the ’24 Games.

Starting off with the footwear, Alexis honed in on the color-changing aspects of a chameleon, applying a wear-away exterior on the reptilian textured SB Dunk Low and AS-1 Pro. The SB Dunk is covered in larger scaly exteriors in blots of olive camo green that make away for a fuchsia base layer. The AS-1 Pro has a finer texture in white, itself covering the same fuchsia pink layer beneath. The shoes will drop on August 22nd as a two-pair twin pack; the shoes will also be sold individually on August 29th on SNKRS and select retailers. While firmer details haven’t been revealed, it’s possible that the twin-pack will feature custom packaging.

For the apparel for the upcoming Paris Games, Alexis combined classic workwear pieces with casual garb, arriving at a bowler shirt, a Parisian-inspired chore coat, and relaxed fit denim pant. Uniquely designed team crests combine skateboarding iconography with the spirit of each respective country; these logos can be found around the entire collection of apparel. Expect the Nike SB Olympic ’24 apparel to release on July 18th at select skate-shops.
